A New Car in the Fleet

For the 2022 season, we've added another contender. Seven year old Anson will be giving the Outlaw Karts a shot. We've picked up another used kart. This time from the guy that got us involved in the first place, a co-worker that races with his two daughters. His youngest has now moved up to the "Open" division, running a 500cc kart with the big boys and girls. We look forward to watching her race.

The timing couldn't have been better for us, as a young and overconfident Anson has been very intrigued by the tables full of trophies handed out at the series finales. If nothing else, this should be a humbling experience for him.

After tearing down and freshening up our newly acquired car in the fall, we were left with a blank canvas. Being fortunate enough to have Lucky Dog Racing Canada adorn Sloane's kart with some cool graphics, we couldn't let her little brother's kart out on track without a "livery". Fortunately for us, LDRC series sponsor Ultraray Motorsports is also a retailer of karting gear, which seemed like a great fit. They were kind enough to provide us with some decals (and maybe some other things), and I think the final result looks great. You'll also see a Moto/ology Magazine decal on there, as you will on the Celica. Thanks again to them as well for cleaning up our little racing fleet. We a happy to be part of a great racing community and look forward to seeing what this season will bring.
