Race 1, Shannonville Motorsport Park. August 1-2/2020

I was fortunate to find a great team of crew and drivers for our maiden voyage at Shannonville Motorsport Park. The car ran well and we managed 494 laps over 15 hours of racing and loaded it onto the trailer a little dirtier but otherwise no worse for wear. The weather Saturday was comfortable and dry and a good opportunity for the novice (me) to learn which way the track went. Sunday ranged from rain to torrential downpour and made for an interesting drive. For a group of people who had mostly just met, everyone worked well together and we received many compliments from the Lucky Dog staff on our pit organization and clean stops. Many thanks to everyone who was willing to take the leap of faith and get on board with an unproven car and team.
